PECT Highly Commended at Peterborough Telegraph Business Awards

Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) is delighted to have been recognised at the annual Peterborough Telegraph Business Awards. The 20th annual awards ceremony was held on 20 November at Peterborough Arena.

PECT was Highly Commended in the Employer of the Year Award category, which was sponsored by Cross Keys Homes.

PECT has long realised that its ambitious plans to create a cleaner, greener, healthier city of Peterborough and beyond will only be achieved through its staff:  the motivation, engagement, passion and leadership of PECT’s employees is central to the organisation’s success.

The charity experienced fantastic staff survey results in 2015. Within this survey 94% of staff agreed that the success and good performance of individuals is recognised and celebrated. 100% of staff said they understand how their work directly contributes to overall success of the organisation, and 94% of staff said they enjoy their job and working at PECT.

Positive change for achieving a greener, happier, healthier city is at the heart of what we do, and our staff and volunteers are passionate advocates for ‘walking the walk’.
