Peterborough Eco Education Awards 2016

Peterborough Environment City Trust's Peterborough Eco Education Awards ceremony (PEEA), sponsored by Skanska, has been held annually since 2010, took place again in June 2016.

The event is an opportunity to showcase the excellent Eco Education project work that takes place in Peterborough schools, to share best practice and celebrate their achievements.

The independent charity PECT is leading the way with a new eco framework for schools – embedding knowledge of sustainability issues into classes to inspire the next generation of forward-thinking students.

In the run-up to the awards, pupils from across the city were busy developing projects which demonstrate their commitment to the environment, ready for the awards ceremony. All schools with pupils aged 3-18 years in Peterborough are invited to attend, culminating in a mix of students from across the city.
