Event Overview
Join community garden leads and researcher Kelly Thomas to discuss spaces and growing in an urban environment. An opportunity to hear research findings and ask questions and explore the theme of growing in the city.
This workshop will explore the ways in which residents use the community garden and other community spaces to form networks of resistance during challenging economic times. The aim of the project is to gain an understanding of what community spaces mean to residents and how residents use them now, and the future of their existence in Peterborough. This workshop will involve some creative writing and arts-based activities including photography. There will also be an opportunity for your thoughts about Peterborough and community spaces to be included in a digital archive which will run alongside the project.
