Event Overview
Family Guided Cycle Ride Sunday 13th September 2020 2pm – 5pm
Join our Instructors at Nene Outdoors for Family Friendly Guided Cycle Rides through several of our Parks including Ferry Meadows, Orton Mere and Thorpe Meadows.
Enjoy a trip past lakes, a steam railway and open meadows as you discover some of Nene Park’s less visited areas.
The route will cover approximately 14 kilometres (3 hrs) on even ground through the Parks.
Gain confidence with our instructors for riding to school or exploring with your family and friends.
Minimum age on own bicycle is 7 yrs. Younger children may join the ride in trailers, tag-alongs or child seats.
Everyone must wear a cycle helmet!
A place – £5 – must be booked for each person on their own bike after signing up/logging in at https://neneparktrust.cloudvenue.co.uk/familyguidedcycleride
Children in trailers, tag-along or child seats go free.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
A good quality bicycle is recommended – Nene Outdoors Instructors may deem a bike not suitable for these routes.
Bikes are available for hire with kids accessories (trailers, tag-alongs and child seats).
