Event Overview
An evening of Farming for the Future films, good food, information about Nenescape and short talks from Martin Lines (Nature Friendly Farming Network UK Chair) and Duncan Farrington (Farrington’s Mellow Yellow).
Farming for the Future is hosting this event to provide an update on their work so far in the Nene Valley and provide an opportunity for farmers learn about the funding opportunities as part of the project.
We will be hearing from Duncan Farrington (Farrington’s Mellow Yellow) and Martin Lines (Nature Friendly Farming Network UK Chair) who will both share their insight and experiences on how they have altered their farming practice to work with nature on farm and how this has resulted in improved farm efficiency.
We will also be showing a couple of films produced working with local farmers which highlight the changes in the valley, document the pressures of farming and celebrate the environmental contribution many farmers are making to the British countryside.
