Event Overview
An introduction to the myriad wild and cultivated edible foods that grow all around us, for foodies and gardeners alike.
Horticulturist and food enthusiast Gareth Richards and permaculturalist Sam Woods, will be leading a hands-on tour exploring the Green Backyard, tasting and picking as they go, to seek out some of the more unusual edible plants and flowers hiding amongst more conventional veg.
The workshop will include details on safe foraging, plant identification and likely foraging spots, concluding with a group cooking session and recipe share to transform your collected goodies into an edible feast.
