Event Overview
Guided walk led by Sarah Lambert and Peter Kirby around Lattersey Nature Reserve.
Lattersey NR is a brownfield site which has developed a mosaic of open water, reed beds, damp grassland and willow carr.
A wide variety of fenland species are present and a stop for pond dipping will reveal many aquatic species that are normally overlooked.
There are moderately steep slopes and steps.
The paths can be slippery when wet.
Please wear stout shoes or boots.
Meet in the NR car park at 301 New Road, Whittlesey, Peterborough PE7 1SZ – Grid Ref. NGR TL 282 966.
Walks are £2 – children free.
