Looking for the Goshawk – the lost raptor
A personal, narrative account of the natural history of this mystery-shrouded bird of prey: how it lives, where it lives, and why it might be missing from our lives.
Conor Jameson, author and conservationist, has worked for the RSPB and BirdLife as staff and volunteer for 25 years. He is the author of Silent Spring Revisited, a reflection of the influence of Rachel Carson on the growth of environmentalism, and the extent to which her warnings were heeded. His book Shrewdunnit: The Nature Files, is a compilation of essays, many of which centre on his home patch of Tempsford in Bedfordshire.
