Event Overview
Mindfulness is recognised as an effective way to handle the pressures of life and work – and to get more out of life’s moments.
Come along to the Lakeside Centre in the beautiful and relaxed setting of Nene Park to learn more and get some practical experience of techniques you can use in everyday life to handle situations with more calmness and focus.
We will explain what “mindfulness” means, the evidence for its benefits, and how it can be helpful in everyday life.
Our event will include a mindful walk in the Park, and a number of short practices including some you can take away to use at home.
We will also provide details about where to get more information, and about our evidence-based mindfulness courses.
The event will be run by Jennifer Cramb and Andrea Woods. Jennifer and Andrea run mindfulness courses in Peterborough and have trained to teach mindfulness-based stress reduction in accordance with the UK Network of Mindfulness Based Teachers.
