Event Overview
Help create a ‘mini forest’ in your community.
Want to do something amazing in Woodston this February? Come along to Celta Road on Friday 21 February and plant trees. You’ll be helping to create a wood meadow ‘mini forest’ on your home patch.
What’s a wood meadow ‘mini forest’? Put simply, it’s a compact forest – typically about the size of a tennis court (10 by 20 metres) – blending wildflower meadow and native woodland species to form a rich, overlapping ecosystem. Find out more here.
By planting trees, you’ll be increasing local tree-canopy coverage and boosting biodiversity across Peterborough.
