Piccolo on Safari
For our November Piccolo we welcome first time performer at Piccolo mezzo soprano Elaine Bishop, who will be accompanied on piano by Fergus Black.
They’ll be taking us on safari in a programme packed with songs about animals from around the world: from the biggest (elephants, zebras, hippos, crocodiles) to the smallest (ants and butterflies).
As ever, doors open at 10am and the music starts at 10.30am.
Admission is £4 per adult, £2 per child and adults and children must look after each other, so no adults without children or vice versa.
There are free refreshments (tea/coffee/squash and biscuits) for all.
Additional donations for the refreshments are welcome!
Piccolo is a monthly concert for young children, held in St John’s Church in the centre of Peterborough. Each concert lasts approximately an hour; usually the last ten minutes are songs or dances that the children can join in on, with singing, actions, and an instrument from our box of unbreakable child-friendly musical instruments. Piccolo has been running every month except January and August since September 2015.
