Event Overview
Join the British Trust for Ornithology’s (BTO) Hugh Hanmer to learn more about Britain’s owls and how ‘Project Owl’ is helping to shed more light on these fascinating and charismatic birds.
Owls are fascinating and charismatic birds and a favourite with so many of us. However, owing to their largely nocturnal lifestyle there is much that we don’t know about them – not least quite how they are faring in the British Isles. The BTO’s ‘Project Owl’ aims to fill in some of the gaps and shed some much-needed light on this group of birds. The Project’s Coordinator, Hugh Hanmer, will introduce the species and tell us more about this important project.
