Event Overview
Friday 21st June 2019 6.45pm – 9pm
Join Ely Local Group to discover the midsummer wildlife to be found along the River Great Ouse and Roswell Pits.
Roswell Pits and the River Great Ouse are great for wildlife at any time of year.
However, they should be at their bustling best as we approach midsummer.
With the breeding season in full swing there should be lots to see, with family parties of waterfowl cruising past, terns catching fish, swifts and swallows hawking over the water and kingfishers flashing by.
Barn owls and marsh Harriers are amongst the other possible sightings, as well as a rich array of flowers, insects and fish.
Cost: £3
