Event Overview
Monday 9th September 2019 1.15pm – 3.15pm
Here at Ferry Meadows we will be running 2 hour sessions on the second Monday of every month for home schooled children (4-16).
Each session will have curriculum and nature focused activities with each month having a different theme:
September 9th – Living Things and Their Habitats
Aimed at KS1. Activities to include investigation of a woodland habitat and a pond habitat.
October 14th – Explorers
Aimed at KS2. Activities to include scouting out an area to choose as a base and orienteering.
November 11th – Stone Age
Aimed at KS2. Activities to include fire lighting, shelter building and Stone Age art.
December 9th – Natural Art
Aimed at KS1. Activities to include colours in nature, ephemeral art, green man masks and making a natural object.
Adults must accompany their children and all participating children need to have booked a space.

Cost: £5.50 per child per session
