By collecting information on what environmental issues residents feel could be improved upon it will give PECT an indication of how best to shape its work in order to meet local needs and make a real difference within the city.
“We want to engage with people from across the Peterborough community to hear a range of views.” explains PECT’s Communities Team Manager Karen Igho. “The aim of this engagement work is to positively and actively respond to the feedback we receive and reach a stage where more people can be proud of this city in which they live.”
PECT has been delighted by the levels of input received from across the city already, including hearing from people everywhere from the PECT Green Festival, to the Great Eastern Run, to multiple focus groups.
We are still keen to hear more people’s views from across the city, so please do get involved! If you haven’t done so already, please fill out the survey below to get your voice heard.
To take part in the survey visit www.pect.org.uk/Proud2BPeterborough and share your thoughts on social media with #Proud2BPeterborough.
In addition, we are setting people the challenge of taking a photo of a place in Peterborough that they are proud of, to upload to social media using the hashtag, so remember to follow us to join in the interaction.
