In November 2013 a RiverCare mural was painted onto the Cambridge railway underpass, not far from Peterborough city centre. This mural was inspired by the wildlife along the River Nene, which is maintained by the local volunteer RiverCare groups. It is part of a bigger plan to improve the area for wildlife and people. The mural represents a unique collaboration between different partners in the city, including PECT and Froglife. The mural was created by local artist Stuart Payn from the Blok Collective and a group of young volunteers from the Pyramid Youth Group in Bretton. Enterprise Peterborough, a Community Payback team and Railworld provided assistance to help with the completion of this project.
