On the 23rd January PECT volunteer, Peter Bailey, won an award at the 18th Volunteer awards evening held at Peterborough Town Hall. The awards recognise the work carried out by volunteers to create a better community.
Peter is a key volunteer for the Woodland Heritage in Action project and joins in on the community days to help with conservation work. He assists other volunteers and helps to oversee the day's activities. He always arrives early to help set up and is one of the last ones to leave at the end of the day, helping to carry all the equiptment back to the base.
