Working with UK Power Networks to help households save energy

Thanks to £39,000 in funding from regional electricity distributor UK Power Networks (UKPN), PECT’s Cambridgeshire Home Energy Support Service (CHESS) is offering free energy-saving measures to households in the East of England.

A range of products to reduce electricity and heating usage – including smart technology such as smart-timer plug sockets and smart thermostatic radiator valves – is available to people looking to cut their energy bills and winter-proof their homes.

Running until March 2025, the scheme aims to improve the energy efficiency of 225 households across UKPN’s eastern region.
